Broadleaf Native Trees
Oak, Ash, Rowan and Holly are the types of trees that will be planted in the 32 acres of Northumbrian Woodland Burials to provide a permanent broadleafed wood for future generations to enjoy.

Below is an artists impression of what the Bockenfield Wood site will look like the landscape has been given time to mature.

Please mouse-over the various regions of the map to reveal further details.

The vast majority of the trees we are to use are indigenous broadleaves, mostly Oak and Ash, which are slow growing. We hope you will agree that this decision is a far better way of producing a well managed forest for the future. Please bear this in mind if you should decide to visit Northumbrian Woodland Burials.

We hope you agree that this is the correct approach, if you would like to discuss the site or the site plan with us, don't hesitate to contact us.
